Our Philosophy :
Here at Little Peoples Place one of the wonderful things we do is help build community with our families. We encourage parents to participate by volunteering to come in at circle time to give a short presentation once a month. Our annual parent meetings create opportunities to get to know each other and our annual camping event is a lot of fun.
Finding the best environment for your child is extremely important. Your child's intellectual outlook is affected by his or her environment.
I personally feel that my role as teacher/caregiver is to treat everyone with respect and love. (Children, Families, and Co-workers).
When I think about what we teach at our child care, the first thing that comes to mind is that we value creativity, independence, and cooperation. I like the children to be visually stimulated and to feel that our child care is very approachable.
We believe children learn through play. At Little People's Place, we supervise and guide children in activities that help them do just that.
